为何我要成立这个平台 - 大马青少年创客学院
我想在我们社区的帮助下,大马青少年创客学院(MYMA)的成立将教育青少年如何用电脑編写程式和创新产品。
学院将为青少年和小孩提供电脑编码学习计划。特别关注的是来自低收入家庭,单亲家庭,孤儿和无特殊小孩的年轻孩子,学习如何编写生活技能,这将改变他们的生活并给予希望。
我知道成立这项目过程将充满挑战,并不容易,但我知道这个项目的成功将会影响许多青少年和孩子们, 這是多么有意义的, 所以我决定追求它。
我的MYMA活动计划是:
1. 将为低收入家庭提供免费培训班。教他们如何编写电脑程式,从初级到高级。以双语, 华语和英语进行教学。在进行了一些调查之后,目前在巴生谷一帶还没有正式的双语青少年电脑程式课程。

10.将与一些跨国公司合作实施企业社会责任计划,以获得硬件/软件赞助的资金,用于装备学院的设施。
但是如何开始我的项目呢?我需要大家的全力的支持来资助这个有意义的项目。因为这将对现在和将来的孩子们产生长期的积极影响和改变他们的人生。
所以我决定了以群众募资㦯众筹.具体是指透过网际网路展示、宣传计画内容、原生设计与创意作品,并与大众解释通过募集资金让此作品量产或实现的计画。有意支持、参与及购买的群众,可藉由「赞助」的方式,让此计划、设计或梦想实现。在一定的时限内,完成事先设定募资的金额目标后即为募资成功,可以开始进行计画。

What is a computer program?
Computer program is the language of human communication with the computer, we can command the computer through the computer program to perform various tasks.
I love kids and I also love to code and create electronics inventions, for example this is one of the project that I did:
The following 3 In 1 Light Controller was builded by me, using computer programming and electronic invention.
We can control the light switch by touching the tablet screen,
Shake the tablet, to turn on and off the light bulb.
And also control through voice command.
This is because we have the command of the computer.
Why study computer coding?
Computers and software are changing everything ....

And today I want to create the same platform for our youth and teenagers in Malaysia.
With the help from our community, the establishment of Malaysia Young Maker Academy (MYMA) will teach young kids how to code and create innovation products.
The academy will provide the coding learning programme to teenagers and kids from Chinese medium education, in general. The special focus will be those young kids from low income family, single parent family, orphan and unprivileged kids to learn a living skills on how to code, this will change their life and giving the hope to them.
I know the journey will be full of challenges and will not be easy, but I know the impact of the success is so meaningful to a lot of young kids, so I decide to pursuit it.
My plan for MYMA activities are:
1. Provide free training class for unprivileged young kids. Teach them how to code, from beginner to advance level. Conduct the class in dual language, Mandarin and English. Currently there is no formal coding class conduct in Mandarin in Klang Valley, after I conducted some survey.
Those kids from affordable family, will only charge for a nominal fees example RM80 to RM100 per month. This is still much lower than the other coding school (only one teaching medium: English), that charge around RM300 to RM400 per month.
2. Have plan to recruit students from primary chinese school and secondary independent school. Will able to use back the existing computer facilities.
3. Design, develop and roll out two to three new coding training syllabus programme, each year.
4. Create the young makers lab programme for teaching youth to combine the coding skills with electronics inventions and art.
5. Conduct hackathon and contest for youth to create their inventions within contest duration.
6. Recruit voluntary / intern from university to assist the academy, initially. This provide the internship programme opportunities for universities student.
7. For those good performance youth who graduate from the academy programme, will be recruit for the new batch of lecturers to train new batches of young kids. Hence, the supply of teacher for academy, will be self-sustainable.
8. The Maker Lab can also running as separate social entrepreneurship business model to run consultancy works and project, for example Internet of Things (IoT) projects to full fill local community requirement. The income from the works will be channel back to support the academy's operation expenses.
9. Will setup online distance computer learning programme, for those student that stay far away from academy.
10. Will collaborate with some multi-national companies on their CSR programme to get the contribution of sponsorship of hardware/software for to equip the academy's facilities.
But how to kick start my project it? I will need the community support to fund this meaningful project. Because it definite will create the long term positive impact to the kids, for now and future.
So I decided to fund-raising or crowd-funding, specifically through the Internet to showcase and promote the contents of the project, the original design and creative works, and with the public to explain the plan to public or realization of this work by raising funds . The people who are willing to support, participate in and purchase can make this plan, design or dream come true by means of "sponsorship". Within a certain period of time, the completion of the goal of setting the amount of fund-raising in advance is the successful fund-raising, and can start the project.

1. Need to convince the parent, to let their kids to learn computer coding. For those who are non computer literate or busy with their daily routine works, may given excuse of no time to send their kids to the academy. We may need to arrange for transportation for despatching the kids.
2. Need to convince headmaster/administrator at school to allow us to teach the programme to their student, since at the beginning we do not any track records yet.
We may need to offer initial free trial class for the students.
3. Need to convince big corporation or multinational companies to donate their computer facilities for our acedemy teaching facilities, as part of their corporate social responsibities (CSR) programme.
